Our client, a leading international manufacturing company is seeking a Warehouse Lead to join their team. As a Warehouse Lead, you will be part of the Shipping and Receiving department supporting US operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, organization and commitment which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Warehouse Lead
Location: Ankeny, IA
Pay Range: $22-$25/hr + bonus potential
Shift: Monday-Friday: 8am-4:30pm, no weekends
What’s the Job?
- Assisting with assigning, directing, and monitoring the work of all team members.
- Assisting with implementing work procedures to increase productivity and improve service within the operation.
- Assisting with evaluating the performance of team members and providing training experience as needed.
- Assists with supervising all receiving and shipping records daily.
- Ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
- Receiving goods per Purchase Orders
- Accurately picking products using computerized warehouse management system
- Packing products into boxes and generating labels
- Shipping goods per Sales Orders to customers and creating associated paperwork
- Loading/Unloading trucks via forklift
- Restocking shelves
- Assisting in inventory cycle counts
- Reporting discrepancies
What’s Needed?
- High school diploma
- Previous leadership experience preferred
- Previous warehouse experience required
- Experience with computers and Microsoft Office. Data entry will be required.
- A drug test and background check are required upon hire.
